Description

The 'AGA' Mini-test is designed for testing proper function in the field; without need of complex, expensive test instruments. The Mini-test is suitable for use with the following, Interspiro marques: Spiromatic Divator Spiroline Revitox   Motivox oxygen kit. Complete with instructions, the kit is easily used by divers and fire-fighters to adjust or check: That positive pressure is maintained, at demand exceeding 5 litres/second. That inhalation and exhaltion resitances are within approved settings  That the demand performance remains stable and that there are no inter-stage leaks That the 'second' stage air supply offers adequate flow and no high pressure leakage, from the first-stage. That Divator B/Vs are water tight and that the NR valve functions adequately. In fact, this little box enables skilled operatives to make field adjustment*, testing all relevant areas of performance to 'the book'; whilst, given a few minutes training, those who are not technicians can easily check the equipment is working to parameters laid down in user hand-books. Small enough to fit the technician's work case, this is an invaluable addition to his standard kit, which is likely only to offer static, rather than dynamic results. Be sure, be safe: MINI-TEST, from Interspiro * It should be noted that the Mini-test is designed primarlily to give 'go/no-go' indications, the water bottle and tube acting as a crude manometer; the weighted end kept close to the bottle bottom. Relatively accurate manometer readings may be taken, if technicians mark the dip-tube in millimetres - each graduation therefore representing 10 Pa, read from the upper water meniscus to the meniscus mark in the dip-tube. Our own, field technicians attach a graduated rule to the dip-tube, so that pressure differences may be read to within +/- 1mm water gauge (+/- 10 Pa). Thus, readings are obtained, with care, that permit testing adjustments to within the specifications laid down in approved service manuals.  As supplied: the apparatus includes: Connection adaptor with rubber bulb and valve Measuring bottle with single, test reference mark Disposable mouth-pieces, 2 Adaptor and O-ring User instructions Clear, plastic container.
